Professor Nicholas Wilson is Director of the Credit Management Research Centre. He has a degree in economics and a Phd from Nottingham University and has worked at the Wissenschaftzentrun, Berlin, Warwick and Bradford Universities. He was appointed Professor of Credit Management in 1993 and established CMRC at Leeds University if 1998. He runs the occasional marathon and tries to play tenor saxophone.
Dr Ali Altanlar is Lecturer in Credit Risk and Associate Fellow of the Credit Management Research Centre. He has a degree in Civil Engineering and MBA (Durham) and completed his Phd Thesis at LUBS. His thesis involved modelling corporate insolvency and individual bankruptcy rates in the UK economy. His is currently working on projects related to small amd family business, private equity, regional development, director characteristics and corporate insolvency risk
